Can I Vote?

Voter Registration Form with Flag in Background

You can vote if you are a US citizen 18 years or older, and a resident of NC. You must be registered to vote.

You can vote even if:

  • You have a guardian.

  • You have an intellectual disability, unless a judge said you can’t vote.

  • You have a felony conviction as long as you have served your time and probation. You will have to register to vote again.  If you don’t know if a judge has said whether you can vote, ask your guardian. If they won’t tell you, call DRNC.
